Ukraine's Kyivstar to Withhold Operating Results for February
KIEV, Mar 22 (Prime-Tass) -- Kyivstar, Ukraine's largest mobile operator, has decided not to report its operating results for February due to an ongoing shareholders' conflict, Sergei Tovstenko-Zabelin, a spokesman for the company, told Prime-Tass Thursday.
Kyivstar's shareholder Storm, an affiliate of Russia's Alfa Group, earlier obtained court rulings prohibiting Kyivstar's management from providing financial information to international auditors and shareholders.
Storm holds 43.5% in Kyivstar and Norway's Telenor has 56.5%. The two companies have been in conflict since December 2005.
Kyivstar's revenue came to 10.956 billion kroner in 2006.
