German Court Lifts Mobile Market Fee Regulation

HANOVER, Germany -(Dow Jones)- A German court has lifted a regulation that obliged mobile-phone operators to seek approval for fees they charge their customers to accept calls from other networks, German network regulator Bundesnetzagentur said Friday.

The Cologne administrational court ruled in favor of the four German mobile network operators T-Mobile, a unit of Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone Germany, O2 Germany and E-Plus, which had challenged the regulation.

The network regulator said it will appeal against the decision.
