Antigua Orders New Billing Platform

The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) has ordered a turnkey billing platform from Redknee, acording to a release from the company. Redknee says that its Turnkey Converged Billing System will provide APUA with the capability to offer their subscribers innovative rate plans and usage incentives using Redknee's real-time rating engine.

"Here at APUA, we are determined and committed to providing Antigua and Barbuda with the best in class service and flexible rate plans," said Allan Williams, General Manager of APUA PCS. "We selected Redknee because of their innovative outlook on technology and their credibility to delivering new revenue channels."

This is the first phase in APUA PCS plan to bring next generation mobile services and applications to its loyal subscribers.

"Redknee will provide the technology framework to improve real-time rating in APUA's billing platform while increasing subscriber loyalty," said Lucas Skoczkowski, CEO at Redknee. "This win provides further evidence of our ability to bring innovative technology to market, providing operators with the frameworks to remain competitive and leading edge."
