MOSCOW, Feb 28 (Prime-Tass) -- Russian telecommunications operator Comstar United Telesystems, or Comstar UTS, has started offering corporate Wi-Fi telephone networks, the company said Wednesday.
The network uses mobile phones, the company said, adding that calls within the network are free of charge and all other calls, including long-distance and international calls, cost the same as calls from fixed-line phones.
Comstar UTS also offer setting up a Wi-Fi network free of charge if it is used for providing Internet access to visitors.
The service is aimed primarily at businesses where employees move around the building a lot, such as hotels, warehouses and exhibition centers.
Comstar UTS, which is controlled by major Russian holding AFK Sistema, provides an array of telecommunications services, including fixed-line, Internet access, video conference calling and cable TV services.
