Sonaecom May Merge With Vodafone Unit If PT Bid Fails

Portuguese telecommunications company Sonaecom is considering a merger with the Portuguese unit of the UK's Vodafone Group, should its bid for Portugal Telecom fail, Diario Economico reports, citing sources close to the process."
