Brightstar Renews Motorola Distribution Agreement

Regional wireless equipment distributor Brightstar has renewed a distribution agreement with global handset manufacturers Motorola for Latin America and other markets, the former said in a statement.

Brightstar's relationship with Motorola began in June 2001 when it was named as master services distributor for Latin America. The agreement was extended to cover the US later that year and in 2005, Brightstar began distributing Motorola devices in Australia through operator Telstra.

Headquartered in Miami, Brightstar has operations in many Latin American countries including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Venezuela."
