Telus Expands Canadian 3G Coverage
Canada's Telus has announced the expansion of its CDMA 1xEVDO service to Bathurst, Florenceville, Fredericton, Moncton, Saint John, Coldbrook, Kentville, Halifax, Truro, New Glasgow, Stellarton, Sydney, North Sydney, Wolfville, Charlottetown and St. John's.
"By uniting the broadband-like download speed of our Wireless High Speed service with the newest portable communications devices, Telus is providing clients with the most powerful mobile data and entertainment solutions available," said Robert Blumenthal, Telus senior vice-president of Products and Services. "Today's announcement is part of Telus' commitment to making it simple for consumers and businesses to stay connected for ultimate productivity and entertainment."
Telus Wireless High Speed now reaches more than half of Canadians. The company expects to continue to expand Wireless High Speed to other regions throughout 2007."
