Downloading Music to Phone and PC
TDC Mobile says that it is the first mobile operator to launch 24-7 MusicShop's 'dual delivery' mobile music download service. The new service enables TDC Mobile customers to download music tracks to their phone and receive simultaneous delivery to an online account. The music can then be downloaded to a PC and burned or transfered to another device.
This fully integrated mobile and online solution gives TDC Mobile all the premiere functions already available on the TDC Broadband music service also powered by 24-7 MusicShop. Features include an integrated ringtone service, gift certificates, price discount modules, customer service management tools and much more.
The mobile service complies with all OMA 1 content protection standards. The delivery of full track downloads to mobile phones has only recently been introduced in the mobile market but already it has proven to be a major success for distributing digital music.
The 24-7 dual delivery mobile music service is a strategic component of TDC's 3G launch and will be featured on 24 out of 49 handsets that the platform supports. In addition to being a very attractive signing-up bonus for premium services, it also generates an additional revenue stream beyond that of normal voice services.
