More Ships Get Marine GSM Coverage

Maritime Communications Partner (MCP) says that it has signed a contract with the shipping firm, Stena Line to deliver GSM and SMS services on board a further 6 ships. Following successful installations in 2005 and 2006, the number of Stena ships set to provide the CellAtSea service to passengers and crew now totals 16.

'To offer our customers a seamless GSM service on board is a natural part of the modern full service concept that we believe is very important. Our customers expect to be able to use their normal office or private tools also when traveling with our vessels.
