Azerbaijan's Azercell Telecom Sees Investments at $130 Mln 2007

BAKU, Dec 14 (Prime-Tass) -- Azeri mobile operator Azercell Telecom projects its investments flat on the year at US$130 million in 2007, Azercell's Chief Executive Halim Ates said at a news conference Thursday.

Azercell Telecom is Azerbaijan's largest mobile operator.

The Azeri government holds a 35.7% stake in Azercell Telecom, while telecommunications holding Azertel holds 64.3%. Fintur Holdings, a joint venture between Turkish mobile operator Turkcell and Swedish telecommunications company TeliaSonera, holds 79.8% in Azertel, while Turkey?s Cenay holds 20.2%.
