Ukraine's Mobile User Base Up to 43.944 Mln on Nov 30

MOSCOW, Dec 11 (Prime-Tass) -- The total subscriber base of Ukraine's mobile operators rose to 43.944 million users, or valid SIM cards, as of November 30 from 41.848 million users as of October 31, Advanced Communications & Media (AC&M) said in a report Monday.

SIM card penetration in Ukraine rose to 92.3% as of November 30 from 87.9% as of October 31, AC&M said.

Kyivstar accounted for 43.4% of the total subscriber base in November, UMC accounted for 40.1%, while Astelit and URS accounted for 12.3% and 3.6%, respectively.

Kyivstar and UMC accounted for 38.6% and 32.8% of the increase in Ukraine's total subscriber base in November, respectively, while Astelit accounted for 12.9% and URS for 15.4%.
