DT Confirms French Move

Deutsche Telekom's Chief Financial Officer, Karl Gerhard Eick, has confirmed to German financial newspaper Boersen Zeitung that the company is negotiating to launch a joint bid with Bouygues Telecom for a French 3G license. France will award its 3G licenses on the basis of a beauty contest."
