Capacity Problems on Indonesian Satellite

Pasifik Satelit Nusantara (PSN) has announced that its partner, Lockheed Martin has discovered an antenna-related anomaly onboard the Indonesian Garuda-1 satellite, that will possibly limit the maximum call handling capacity of the ACeS GSM network that is due to go live at the end of September. While the full effect of the anomaly will not be known until Lockheed Martin completes its evaluation of the problem, and capacity problems will probably be solved by the launch of the Garuda-2 satellite soon."
