Argentine mobile operator CTI Móvil, a unit of Mexico's América Móvil, plans to invest US$268mn in infrastructure in 2007, newspaper El Cronista reported CTI CEO Carlos Zenteno as saying.
The executive said the company's budget for 2006 was US$263mn.

CTI also plans to start offering clients some real time cable TV transmissions in the coming days, the newspaper reported.
CTI has nearly 9 million clients and is the second largest operator in the country behind Movistar, the local unit of Spanish giant Telefónica.
The company's GSM network has 2,731 antennas nationwide offering mobile telephony coverage in 3,650 cities and towns.
CTI saw its third quarter 2006 revenues reach 1.2bn pesos (US$388mn), up 50.7% compared to the same quarter last year.
