Bi-Lingual Mobile Chat for Jordan
Umniah Jordan, part of Batelco Bahrain Group, has announced the launch of first fully Arabized mobile chatting service in Jordan through MixChat, KASTANA's chatting and community platform, the service gives Umniah's 700,000 subscribers the facility of using mobile chatting service via SMS, WAP, and Web.
"We are happy to be launching this service for our customers, this is another milestone for Umniah in Jordan, this chatting service is unique because it provides Arabic and English interface for subscribers, which enables them to chat with anyone anytime" says Ms. Leila Rawashdeh, Senior VAS Officer at Umniah.
The bilingual mobile chatting service is the first commercial deployment of MixChat in Jordan; as it offers a comprehensive solution to the business and technical requirements stated in Umniah RFP. Through implementing MixChat, Umniah is now able to offer its subscribers the chatting experience on any wireless device using three delivery chatting channels SMS, WAP and web, taking into consideration future developments by adding an attractive chatting channels using Symbian and Java (J2ME).
