Push to Talk for Caribbean Islands
Cable & Wireless has announced that they are investing just over US$3-million in "Push Talk", its soon to be launched Push to Talk (PTT) service to be offered by bmobile. This investment will serve customers in both Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.
Mr. Tim Adam, Chief Executive Cable & Wireless (Cayman Islands) Ltd. said "the investment being made in the PTT service is yet another indication of his company's commitment to use the latest technologies to deliver the right products in the right way at the right price for its customers."
"The investment in bmobile's Push Talk", Mr. Adam said, "was driven by the company's commitment to ensure that its range of products and services enable the best match for customers in the conduct of their business and personal communication."
"We are listening to our customers and responding to them by meeting their expressed needs with a range of services that let them communicate the way they want to", the C&W Chief said.
The PTT service offered by bmobile will be available to customers in early 2007."
