MTV Signs Turkish Mobile Content Deal
Turkey's Turkcell says that it has signed a content agreement with the music television channel, MTV, coinciding with the launch of a local MTV broadcast in Turkey on 23rd October. Turkcell subscribers will be able to access both local and international MTV content via Turkcell-im.
MTV Turkiye Vice President Esra Oflaz Guvenkaya noted that MTV Turkiye planned to speak out to young people not only on TV but also on all available platforms and that the agreement they concluded with Turkcell was therefore of great importance for them.
