Vodafone Underground in Romania

Vodafone Romania customers can now use their mobile phones in all 42 subway stations, in the capital, Bucharest. In addition, Vodafone customers have now access to mobile communications when in the tube trains, on the lines between Timpuri Noi - Eroilor stations, and Piata Unirii 2 - Piata Romana stations.

"Vodafone Romania is the first operator that extended its network coverage in the subway, in order to offer people access to mobile communications in all 42 stations, too. We are happy to make communication easier for our customers and help them keep in touch anytime, anywhere, through the unique power of mobility", said Liliana Solomon, Chief Executive Officer Vodafone Romania.

The services available to Vodafone Romania customers in subway stations are: voice calls, SMS, MMS and GPRS data services."
