Telenor Increases Serbian Investment

The Serbian arm of Telenor says that it has invested an additional EUR15.3 (US419.3) million in new network equipment to meet the demands of further network growth on the whole territory of Serbia. Part of this investment includes the contract signed with Ericsson for EUR14 (US$17.7) million investment in the equipment.

Only one month after entering the Serbian market, this contract demonstrates Telenor's strong commitment and dedication to invest in Serbia.

After the company invested a total of EUR1.5 billion on July 31, Telenor officially operates in Serbia since September 1 this year."
