T-Mobile Goes Picocell in Europe

ip.access has announced a major picocell supply contract with the European arm of mobile operator T-Mobile International. T-Mobile is now deploying nanoGSM, ip.access' picocell-based solution, to provide dedicated in-building coverage and extended capacity to customers across major GSM networks in Europe. The picocells use existing IP connections to provide backhaul to the core network while avoiding the disruption to building fabric encountered with antenna-based solutions.
