TSTT Subscriber Base Grows to 1mn

State-owned Trinidad & Tobago (T&T) telco TSTT has reached one million GSM customers, the company said in a statement.

"This landmark is especially important because it was achieved at a time when the market was liberalized and actually represents a startling statistic, and that is that TSTT was able to add new customers to its network as fast as, or faster than, the new mobile operator Digicel," TSTT VP mobile services Gary Barrow said.
