Latvian Operator Expands Coverage

BITE Latvia has announced that its own network now covers 67 percent of country's territory and is available for 90 percent of population. The company has expanded into 13 new towns, such as Piltene, Grobin,a and Broce-ni in Kurzeme, Zilupe in Latgale, Ainazi, Vangazi, Balozi, Iksk,ile, Lielva-rde, Varakl,a-ni and Seda in Vidzeme, Kalnciems and Jaunjelgava in Zemgale. In total BITE Latvija network covers 46 towns of Latvia.

"Today nine out of ten people in Latvia can make calls using our network, and aiming to provide quality mobile services to even more customers we are ambitiously continuing rapid network development", says Maarten van Engeland, CEO of BITE Group. He adds that this year "BITE Latvija" expands its network really fast and builds up to 3 base stations a week.
