Personal Launches International Roaming Service for Prepaid Clients

Telecom Personal, the mobile unit of Telecom Argentina, has launched an international roaming service in Brazil for prepaid clients, the company said in a statement.

Personal now offers its GSM clients, roaming with prepaid cards "Personal Light" and fixed prepaid plans "Cuentas Claras."

Nearly 60% of Personal's client base constitute prepaid users.

During the first half of the year, Personal invested 240mn pesos (US$80mn), mostly destined to expanding coverage of its GSM network in Argentina and Paraguay and offering more value added services, the company previously said.
