Single Click Mobile Music Purchasing in Spain

Musiwave, an Openwave subsidiary says that it is fueling Telefonica Movile's new one-click artist content service, Todo X Artista in Spain. Customers who buy music via Todo X Artista will not only enjoy full length music tracks delivered to their handset, but will have one-click access to all content from the artist of their choice, be it full tracks, ringtones, ringbacktones (also known as Yavoys), videotones, videoclips, or wallpaper, on a dedicated artist site.

"Movistar was the first operator to launch a mobile full track MP3 download service in Spain in November 2004. Today, along with Musiwave, we're strengthening our music offering with a new service for users that takes full advantage of the fans concept: all the things you search about your favorite artist. By offering our subscribers in Spain a one-click artist content service, Todo X Artista with Musiwave, we are again breaking new ground," said Esther Tapia, Directora de Contenidos for Telefonica Moviles Espana. "We are innovators, always adapting our products and services to the clients' demands and driving the way for easier services."

The 250,000 full track library includes music from Warner, EMI, SonyBMG, Universal as well as Vale -- the largest local music label in Spain recently acquired by Universal -- Blanco y Negro, and other independent record labels. The full track service is available for euro 1,50 per song.
