Instant Success for Sony Ericsson K800i

The Swedish manufacturer of carrying cases for portable electronics, Krusell, has released their "Top 10"-list for July 2006. The list is based upon the number of pieces of model specific mobile and smart phone cases that have been ordered from Krusell during July 2006. Krusell's list is unique due to the fact that it reflects the sales of phones on six continents and in more than 50 countries around the globe.

"Sony Ericsson K790i/K800i enters this month's list directly on the top spot followed by previous number ones Sony Ericsson W810i and Sony Ericsson K750i/D750i/W800i. - As predicted earlier, the Cyber-shot phone with 3.2 Megapixel camera and 3G proves to be an instant sales success," comments Ulf Sandberg, Managing Director at Krusell International . "Sony Ericsson K790i/K800i will certainly dominate this list for the coming months."

Krusell has also announced an exclusive distribution agreement with J.S. Equipments from Mumbai, India. J.S. Equipment will distribute Krusell cases throughout India to both IT and other retail stores.

With almost 70 million mobile phones being in use today, India is a very attractive market for Krusell", comments Ulf Sandberg, Managing Director at Krusell International AB.
