Norwegians Talk More on Mobiles
Research published by the Norwegian Post and Telecommunications Authority has found that in 2005, Norwegians spoke on average 28 minutes on the mobile phone every week. This is three minutes up from 2004. The Danish spoke 23 minutes, and the Swedish 21 minutes. The Norwegians sent 19 SMS' each, and this is three more than the year before. But, when it comes to SMS, the Danish top the Nordic statistics, as they sent 30 SMS' every week. The Swedish only sent four SMS' per week in 2005.
In 2005, Norwegian citizens had more mobile subscriptions than their Swedish and Danish counterparts, compared with the number of inhabitants.
