SINGAPORE -(Dow Jones)- Singapore Telecommunications, Friday reiterated its "medium-term" goal for double-digit growth in underlying net profit.
The company didn't define the "medium-term".
In the current financial year ending March 2007, the company expects earnings from its regional mobile businesses to grow at a double-digit rate, according to a presentation for SingTel's annual meeting.
Revenue growth at Australian unit Optus is likely to exceed the market's revenue growth rate in the current financial year, SingTel said.
The company, Southeast Asia's largest telecommunications operator by market capitalization, releases its first quarter result on August 3.
