Pantech To Offer PTT Handsets

The South Korean handset manufacturer, Pantech has signed an agreement to incorporate Push to Talk technology from Kodiak Networks into their handsets. This partnership hallmarks Pantech's entry into the PTT device market.

"Our global partnership agreement with Kodiak Networks underscores our commitment to develop exciting and compelling devices that attract a wide range of customers," said Tae Hyun Jeong, vice president of R&D planning, Pantech Group. "We believe that there is a very robust market opportunity for advanced voice services throughout the world and we're delighted to partner with Kodiak to meet this increased demand for PTT and AVS-enabled devices."
