Chilean Network Expects a 50% Growth Rate This Year

The Chilean cellular phone company Entel PCS CEO Marco de Lissicich has said that he expects the company to increase its customer base by 50% by 2001, thanks primarily to the popularity of prepay tariffs. Entel PCS currently controls 37% of the Chilean cellular phone market share with 1 million customers, up from the 665,000 reported at the end of 1999."
