Phone Dealer Arrested for Selling Porn MMS's

A mobile phone retailer in Govindpuri, New Delhi, India has been arrested by local police and charged with selling pornographic MMS's to teenagers. Puneet Berry and his two accomplices, Istkhar Ahmed and Ram Pal Singh were charged after Kalkaji Police sent a decoy customer to Berry's Nokia mobile phone shop in Govindpuri.

According to the police, Berry agreed to transfer 50 MMS video clips to a mobile phone memory card using a Bluetooth connection for Rs 500 (US$11). The video clips were taken from locally purchased porn DVD's.

"He first started downloading MMS clips for his known customers but later started extended it to others," said Deputy Commissioner of Police, South, Anil Shukla.

Soon after Berry and his associates were arrested, Kalkaji police organised a meeting with the local college to warn the students about the illegality of the MMS video clips."
