UK PRESS: ABI Alert Over Vodafone's New Targets

LONDON -(Dow Jones)- Vodafone Group is heading for a fresh battle with shareholders over executive pay after a warning from the Association of British Insurers, The Times reports Saturday.

The paper says the ABI, whose members control up to a sixth of all investments traded on the London Stock Exchange, will issue an "amber top" warning to its members about Vodafone this week ahead of the group's annual meeting on July 25.

The alert reflects concerns about Vodafone's changes to its remuneration policy, which include easier bonus targets for executives, the paper adds without citing sources.
