SwissCom to Seek Partners for 3G Bids

Markus Rauh, chairman of the supervisory board of SwissCom, has told Swiss financial weekly Facts that the company will not be able to finance a 3G license on its own and will have to be part of a consortium when bidding for a Swiss 3G license. Rauh declined to comment on reports that Mobilcom, could be interested in teaming up with Debitel, the SwissCom 3G bidding company."
