Mobile Drive Ban Overturned

A motorist appealing against a US$75 fine for driving while using his mobile phone has had his appeal granted, and the law itself quashed. The ordinance was passed by Hilltown Township, near Philadelphia, but motoring laws need to be passed by the state, to ensure public awareness. The motorist in question had said that he was not aware that the law existed as he was only traveling through the town."
