New Zealand 3G Auction Halted
Pending a court appeal, the New Zealand auction of 60Mhz of 2G spectrum has been suspended. The Court of Appeal is hearing today the appeals of the New Zealand Maori Council and Rangiaho Everton regarding rights to the frequencies. Acting Communications Minister Michael Cullen said that the bidding would resume when the court has made its judgment, and would proceed based on what that judgment is."
