Uralsvyazinform Mobile User Base Reaches 4 Million

MOSCOW, June 26 (Prime-Tass) -- The mobile subscriber base of Russia?s fixed-line and mobile phone operator Uralsvyazinform, which operates under the Utel brand, increased 8.9% since January 1 to 4.0 million users as of Monday, the company said in a press release Monday.

Uralsvyazinform is based in the Ural city of Yekaterinburg and provides communication services in five regions and two autonomous districts, with a total population of over 15 million people.

As of June 1, Uralsvyazinform's fixed-line user base stood at 3.6 million.
