MTN Falls to a Single Owner

South Africa based M-Cell has secured 100% control of the South African GSM network, MTN. The company swapped Transnet's 23% stake in MTN for a share of M-Cell itself. M-Cell is controlled by Johnnic, and the company now controls 50% of M-Cell, with Transnet getting 24%, black empowerment groups have 1% and other commercial shareholders make up the remaining 25%."
