TeliaSonera's 3G Network to Be Finished on Time

TeliaSonera Sweden says that it expects to fulfill the license terms and conditions for the build-out of the 3G network this autumn, at which time 3G network coverage will be available to more than 8.86 million people in Sweden in accordance with the requirements of PTS, the Swedish National Post and Telecom Agency. The build-out process is now entering a new phase.

Within the next few days, mobile operators building 3G networks are to report to the PTS the dates on which their network coverage will comply with the terms and conditions for 3G licenses in Sweden. Svenska UMTS-n
