Two New Handsets from BenQ Mobile
BenQ Mobile's has added two more handsets to its economy class. Both the design-oriented BenQ-Siemens A38 and the business-oriented BenQ-Siemens A58 with integrated Bluetooth technology offer top-class quality and optimal reliability at affordable prices. BenQ Mobile says that it has thought of everything to make life on the move more pleasant: an organizer, a large address book as well as various mobile games which are just some of the versatile features of the new A Class mobiles.
The BenQ-Siemens A38 - the new economy class model for speech telephony
The BenQ-Siemens A38 has a classic, slender bar form (103.5 x 45.5 x 18.75 mm). The structurally outstanding function keys in contrasting colors located above the keypad are particularly eye-catching. The A38 features a 1.4 inch color display with "Color super-twist nematic" (CSTN) LCD display technology. 60,500 colors, 96x64 pixels ensure outstanding legibility.
Moreover, the mobile phone can archive up to 300 text messages, and the Privacy Manager for incoming calls protects the user from undesired calls. The Privacy Manager couldn't be easier - simply activate your list of pre-installed phone numbers from which you don't wish to receive calls. Apart from 32-chord ringtones, the standard features of this solid phone also include an alarm clock, a world clock, a calendar and a calculator, as well as various mobile games.
The BenQ-Siemens A38 will be available from July 2006 in Europe . Market entry in Asia will ensue in August 2006. In Latin America , the mobile phone will be on retail sale from September 2006.
The BenQ-Siemens A58 - a business mobile with leisure features
The BenQ-Siemens A58 is an elegant A Class model with business capabilities. The mobile can be networked without cables to other appliances via the integrated Bluetooth interface. The BenQ-Siemens A58 also has a radio frequency connector (RF connector) and a serial interface for wired data links on board, enabling data stored in the phone and settings to be synchronized quickly and simply with a PC. Moreover, the BenQ-Siemens A58 can boast a connection for an external antenna to ensure optimum reception in a car.
The integrated organizer and clear unified contact book for up to 500 contacts make this mobile phone an efficient tool for coordinating both private and professional appointments. The BenQ-Siemens A58 also comes into its own as a dictating machine (recording time of up to 60 minutes). During a meeting, you will be notified discreetly of incoming calls by the vibration alarm and calls can be made in hands-free mode while you are taking notes, looking for files or making coffee.
The BenQ-Siemens A58 will be available in Europe from August 2006."
