Conformance Testing for Mobile Wimax

Centro de Tecnologia de las Comunicaciones (Cetecom), in Spain, has just been selected by the WiMAX Forum to develop the Radio Conformance Test Tester (RCTT) for Mobile WiMAX. Cetecom has participated, together with other test equipment manufacturers, in a RCTT RFP activity conducted by the Forum.

This test system is based on the recently announced MINT T2110, the first RF conformance test system for IEEE 802.16-2004 devices. MINT T2110 will be supporting both Fixed WiMAX and Mobile RF testing. The MINT family of test solutions for WiMAX comprises a radio conformance tester (MINT T2110), a protocol conformance tester (MINT T2230) and a protocol analyzer tool (MINT T2240).
