New Billing Platform for Trinidad and Tobago

Redknee has announced that Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago (TSTT) has deployed it's Turnkey Converged Billing Solution. Redknee's Converged Billing provides TSTT flexible rating across voice, messaging, data and content services while unifying charging capabilities across the GSM network for all postpaid, prepaid, and hybrid subscribers. The solution incorporates a full CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solution, including customer care management, subscriber self-care, subscriber segmentation and promotional incentives.

"We chose Redknee because they deliver a complete end-to-end solution that fulfills TSTT's total billing requirements," said Trevor Deane, Executive Vice-President of Technology for TSTT. "Redknee has a reputation for being innovative and helping carriers generate new revenues, which is crucial as we roll-out new services and packages to our subscribers."

"The adoption of our real-time converged billing and messaging solutions by TSTT further validates Redknee as a leading provider of real-time converged billing and value added services (VAS) solutions in the Caribbean and Latin American mobile market," said Lucas Skoczkowski, CEO of Redknee. "Redknee is excited and committed to partnering with TSTT to deliver improved subscriber services, which will contribute to ensuring TSTT's continued market leadership, subscriber satisfaction and business success."

The Mobile World database notes that TSTT ended last year with 675,000 customers. They were the sole operator, although Digicell and LaqTel now have operating licenses in the country."
