EDGE for Trinidad and Tobago

Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago (TSTT) has launched EDGE services on its network. With the activation of EDGE, TSTT says that it has become the first mobile service provider in the Region to offer customers service on two independent high-speed mobile data networks - EDGE for GSM users and EVDO for CDMA users.

Access to the EDGE service is presently available in the northern and southern regions of Trinidad with further expansion of the to the rest of country scheduled by the end of April.

According to The Mobile World figures, TSTT ended lat year with 675,000 subscribers."
