USA to Study Mobile Phone Health Risks
The USA Food and Drugs Administration is to launch a three to five year study into the health related effects of mobile phones. The Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association will fund the research to the tune of around US$1 million. All the results must undergo standard scientific review for publication in medical journals, so doctors and consumers can be confident in the findings and confident that if studies uncover any problem, it won't be hidden by the cellular industry."
