AC&M Says Ukraine's Mobile User Base Up to 32 Mln As of Feb 28

MOSCOW, Mar 16 (Prime-Tass) -- The total subscriber base of Ukraine's mobile operators rose to 31.994 million people (valid SIM cards) as of February 28 from 31.420 million people as of January 31, Advanced Communications & Media (AC&M) said in a statement Thursday.

Mobile services penetration in Ukraine rose to 67.2% in February from 66.0% in January, AC&M said.

Kyivstar accounted for 45.3% of the total subscriber base in February, UMC accounted for 44.3% and Astelit and WellCOM accounted for 9.0% and 0.9% respectively.

Kyivstar and UMC accounted for 35.2% and 37.6% of the increase in Ukraine's total subscriber base in February respectively, Astelit accounted for 26.3% and WellCOM for 0.9%.
