Vodafone Group Confirm Offer Talks For Japanese Unit

LONDON -(Dow Jones)- Vodafone Group said that it has noted Friday's press speculation regarding its Japanese subsidiary.

Vodafone confirms it is in discussions regarding a potential sale of a controlling interest in Vodafone Japan to SoftBank. These discussions may or may not lead to a transaction.
