Vodafone Denies CEO Arun Sarin To Resign

LONDON -(Dow Jones)- Vodafone Group, the world's largest mobile telecommunications operator by sales, Thursday said Chief Executive Arun Sarin isn't planning to resign.

A spokesman for U.K.-based Vodafone said market speculation Thursday of Sarin's imminent resignation is "completely untrue."

At 1550 GMT, Vodafone shares were trading up 3.5 pence, or 2.9%, at 123.5 pence.
