Vodafone Denies Speculation CEO Arun Sarin To Resign

LONDON -(Dow Jones)- U.K.-based Vodafone Group PLC, the world's largest mobile telecommunications operator by sales, Wednesday said its chief executive, Arun Sarin, isn't planning to resign.
Its statement follows market speculation Wednesday.
At 0915 GMT, Vodafone shares were trading up 1.25 pence, or 1.1%, at 119.25p against a moderately higher FTSE 100 index.
