Auto-Setup for Indonesian Handsets

Indonesia's PT Excelcomindo Pratama (XL) has selected Insignia's Device Management Server (DMS) solutions for over-the-air management of mobile devices on their growing network. Insignia's DMS is an extensible platform that can support all industry standard mobile device management protocols including Client Provisioning, Open Mobile Alliance Device Management (OMA DM), Firmware Over-the-air (FOTA), Device Diagnostics and Alerts.

Insignia's DMS automatically detects new devices on XL's network, determines the best configuration settings and then provisions these settings over-the-air to the device, ensuring proper setting of the GPRS and other data services. Insignia's solution supports hundreds of popular phone models.
