Nokia Replaces GE Atop Fidelity Magellan Fund
BOSTON (Dow Jones) -- Nokia Corp. ranked as Fidelity Magellan Fund's top holding as of Dec. 31, replacing General Electric Co., which fell to fifth place, according to Fidelity Investments.
While General Electric dropped to the No. 5 spot, it was the only one of Magellan's top-10 holdings that was also in the top 10 as of Sept. 30, when former Magellan manager Robert Stansky still ran the $51.2 billion fund. Harry Lange replaced Stansky on Oct. 31.
UnitedHealth Group, Schlumberger, Google, Genentech, Symantec Corp, Yahoo Japan, Nomura Holdings and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group rounded out the top 10 as of Dec. 31, Fidelity's Website said.
The nine stocks bumped from Magellan's top-10 were Microsoft, Exxon Mobil, American International Group, Home Depot, Citigroup, Johnson & Johnson, Intel, Lowe's Companies and Pfizer.
