Bouygues Says Mobile Telecom Unit Not For Sale

PARIS -(Dow Jones)- Bouygues Telecom, France's third-biggest mobile telecommunications operator, isn't for sale a spokeswoman for the company's parent, Bouygues SA, told Dow Jones Newswires Monday.

"There's nothing new - Bouygues Telecom is not for sale, is that clear?" the spokeswoman said.

Bouygues shares rose sharply Friday on renewed speculation that Bouygues could sell the unit, which analysts value at up to EUR10 billion.
