EBRD, Banks to Lend $100 Mln to Kazakhstan's KaR-Tel"

MOSCOW, Dec 22 (Prime-Tass) -- The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and a syndicate of commercial banks jointly led by the EBRD and Citigroup, are to lend U.S. $100 million to the second largest GSM mobile phone network operator in Kazakhstan KaR-Tel, the EBRD said in a press release late Wednesday.

KaR-Tel is a subsidiary of Russia
